About Me

Hi, my name is Liz and I live in Boston, MA. For years, I was content with a fast-paced marketing career, but didn’t have love for what I was doing day in and day out. My one true passion for as long as I can remember has been cooking.

In March 2010 I took a huge leap of faith, decided to follow my dreams and left my job in marketing to enroll as a full-time student at the French Culinary Institute in New York City. It changed my life completely.

After graduating culinary school, I worked for a year as a line cook at Bergamot, a restaurant just outside Harvard Square in Somerville, MA. I’m freelancing now as a magazine recipe tester and writer. When I’m not working or cooking, I enjoy entertaining and like to try new restaurants whenever possible. When I’m not cooking, you can find me riding my bike, exploring farmer’s markets and spending time with my husband Jason and dog, Rick.
